Previously unreleased Eric Dolphy recordings from 1960-1961, remastered and first released in 1982 by Fantasy Records (except B2, "Serene," was first released on 789869 [1974).

A1 and A2 are first takes of titles released on 200850 recorded on April 1, 1960.
B1, recorded on July 16, 1961, is the first studio take of a title released on the live recording [m172690
B2 is an outtake from sessions for  [r=4232992 recorded on December 21, 1960, the same day Dolphy had recorded 28578 with Ornette Coleman in New York.
